This album was one of the founding fathers of Nü-Metal and is still one of the best records ever in my opinion. It really reminds me of White Pony and is just an all out great album.Īdrenaline: I love a little bit of anger in my music. I also love Tempest much more than I used to. I used to hate Goon Squad, but now it is for sure one of my favorites and I really like it. There are fucking awesome tracks on here and no doubt it is one of their best.
Koi No Yokan: As I listened to this album again, I enjoyed it a lot more than when I last listened to it. This album will never be replaced and is no doubt one of the best pieces of music produced ever. I recently re-binged the discography but now I realize how untouchable the track list is and how amazing each and every song is. It was the reason they are so important to me, I have ATF placed above White Pony because nothing beats ATF, but WP is so close. White Pony was the first vinyl record I had ever received and it was for my 10th birthday in 2000. White Pony: I was 9 years old when I heard Deftones for the first time on MTV and it was about 5 months before White Pony came out. It never gets old and is just all out amazing, Deftones at their best. I remember buying this record on CD right after I heard Deftones for the first time on MTV. It has a very heavy sound and one of the best album outros of all time (MX/Damone). This album took the anger and pain of Adrenaline and made it a lot cleaner and well produced.
